Your First Visit
We want your first experience at NextGen Dental to be relaxing and positive. From the moment you walk into our Austin office, our team is dedicated to your comfort.
1 Comprehensive Exam
Dr. K or Dr. Yanala will perform a complete oral examination. We use digital X-rays and intraoral cameras to check for cavities, gum disease, and other issues that aren't visible to the naked eye.
2 Professional Cleaning
One of our gentle hygienists will clean your teeth, removing plaque and tartar build-up. We finish with a polish to remove surface stains, leaving your smile feeling fresh.
3 Personalized Plan
If any treatment is needed, we will create a personalized plan for you. We explain everything clearly—no confusing medical jargon—and discuss your options.
4 Financial Clarity
Before you leave, we will review your insurance benefits and provide a clear estimate of any costs. No surprise bills, ever.

Do you accept new patients?
Yes! We are currently welcoming new patients of all ages to our South Austin office. Whether you need a routine checkup or restorative work, we are here to help.
Do you take my insurance?
We accept most major PPO dental insurance plans, including Delta, Cigna, MetLife, and Aetna. We also offer a complimentary benefits check before your appointment.
What if I have a dental emergency?
We set aside time daily for emergency appointments. If you are in pain, please call us immediately at (512) 649-4419.
How long will my first visit take?
Please allow approximately 60 to 90 minutes for your initial visit. This gives us ample time for a comprehensive exam, x-rays, and a thorough cleaning.
